NYCFC vs Cosmos June 17 Match Details

Attention NYCFC Supporters:

We’re looking forward to hosting you at Hofstra’s Shuart Stadium for tomorrow’s US Open Cup match.

Below are some important details regarding the match.  Please read this email in its entirety.

• All NYCFC Supporters holding tickets in Sections 25-27 and 25a -27a MUST ENTER ONLY THROUGH GATE F.  All NYCFC Supporters must be in your Seating Sections by 7:15PM.
• All NYCFC Supporters driving personal vehicles to the match should park in the Nassau Coliseum Parking Lots.  Parking fee is $10 which is the same as all other lots.
• If you plan on taking the LIRR to Mineola Station and using the FREE shuttle service, we have added dedicated NYCFC shuttles at Mineola that will run on a constant loop to Shuart Stadium.  These dedicated shuttles will also take you back to Mineola station for up to one (1) hour after the final whistle.  Please look for the proper signs for the NYCFC fan shuttles.
• Sections 25-27 and Sections 25A-27A have been set aside for NYCFC Supporters, and only fans holding these tickets will be allowed into the areas in and around these Sections.  Dedicated concessions and restrooms are located below these seating sections and should be utilized by all NYCFC Supporters.  Please note there are no ATMs located in the stadium and concessions are CASH ONLY.
• Small flags or banners without poles of any kind are allowed. Flags must be game related and may not cover any stadium signage. All flags or banners deemed inappropriate by the Cosmos or stadium management are subject to removal.
• Following the final whistle, all NYCFC Supporter must remain in their Sections.  Hofstra and Cosmos staff will notify the group when egress will be allowed.  Shuttle will continue to run until all fans have left the building.
• Prohibited items include but are not limited to:

o   Bottles (glass), cans, coolers, containers

o   Noisemakers – no plastic horns (vuvuzelas), air horns, whistles, drums, musical instruments, fireworks, flares, smoke bombs and/or similar items

o   Pets or animals of any kind (with the exception of service animals)

o   Weapons of any sort

o   Illegal substances

o   Laser pointers

o   Chains

o   Aerosol Cans

o   Signs or clothing containing vulgar language and/or political messages

o   Professional camera or video equipment including tripods

o   Water guns, toy/replica weapons, squirt bottles, soap bubbles, etc.

o   Beach balls, Frisbees, balloons, brooms, skateboards, roller blades, skates, etc.

o   Flags on poles of any types

Prohibited items discovered during inspections at the stadium entrances will be confiscated and discarded, and may lead to have your ticket(s) revoked with no refund. The Cosmos and Hofstra University reserve the right to disallow items not included on this list, that appear to create distractions or dangerous situations at point of entry or in the stands.

 

The Cosmos are also committed to creating a safe, enjoyable and memorable soccer experience for all guests in and around our stadium.  All fans have the right to expect an environment where:

• Fans are encouraged to cheer, sing and support their team in a respectful and courteous manner to their fellow patrons, game officials and opposing team players.
• Fans enjoy the soccer experience free from fighting, thrown objects, attempts to enter the playing field and political or inciting messages.
• No disorderly behavior, including foul, sexist, racial, obscene or abusive language or gestures will ever be tolerated.
• Fans comply with requests from stadium public safety officers regarding stadium policies and emergency response procedures.
• Fans carefully return any ball that enters the stands to a guest services member or the ball kid on the sidelines.
• Fans conduct themselves in a lawful manner to avoid incidents in the stadium and surrounding areas.
• Alcoholic beverages are consumed in designated areas only in a responsible manner, and only by those of legal age.

 

FAILURE TO ABIDE BY THIS CODE OF CONDUCT IS SUBJECT TO SANCTIONS, INCLUDING EJECTION, BANISHMENT AND ARREST.
