NYCFC MERCHADISE

T-shirt: New York City FC Adidas MLS Primary Logo Light Blue T-Shirt

Simple t-shirt I wear to the games. It’s under $30 and looks good. Go NYCFC!

PODCAST EQUIPMENT

Microphone: Audio-Technica ATR2100-USB Cardioid Dynamic USB/XLR Microphone

The Audio Technica ATR2100 USB Microphone is the only microphone I use to record the podcast. The sound quality is amazing. It’s the starter microphone highly recommended by Pat Flynn (SmartPassiveIncome), John Lee Dumas (EntrepreneurOnFire.com) and many other famous podcasters.

Microphone Foam Ball: On Stage Foam Ball-Type Mic Windscreen, Black

This is the foam ball I purchased for the Audio Technica ATR2100 USB Microphone. Using a foam ball over the microphone helps your sound recording when you have words that have loud “P” sounds. I also don’t want my spit to fall into the microphone so it protects it that way as well. It’s under $2 so it can’t hurt to try it on and see if you like it.

Headphones: Sony MDR-ZX310/WQ ZX Series stereo headphones

These are the headphones I plug into the Audio Technica ATR2100 USB Microphone. I really enjoy using these over simple ear buds when I doing my post production as it really helps me understand and clearly identify tones in peoples voices. They fit comfortable around my head. One thing I would say is after wearing them for over 3-4 hours my ears start to ache just a tad bit. Price isn’t bad either.

PODCAST EQUIPMENT EXTRA CREDIT

Here are extra items you may consider to purchase but are not necessary. I do not use them but they do highly come recommended from top podcast producers and I trust that source. Also, I will eventually upgrade to these products but at the moment I’m happy with what I have above.

Microphone Stand: Audio Technica Microphone Shock Mount

Using a shock mount will help keep your recordings sound much smoother as you won’t hear any vibrations coming from a microphone that sitting on a desk. It’s also allows you to position the microphone in a very comfortable area while you are speaking so that you have a consistent sound level and overall better recording experience.

Microphone: Heil PR-40 Dynamic Studio Recording Microphone

This is a Pro’s mic. The top 1% of the best podcasters will be use this microphone. I’ve never personally used it but I do listen to Pat Flynn and Jon Lee Dumas and their podcast recordings sound simply magnificent.
